Hi, I'm Maxine and I have to personalize everything I own or else I'll die. I go by a handful of names online, but this is the one I use here. I like to draw, read, learn new things, think way too hard about fictional characters, and scheme like a cartoon villain.

I've been on the computer for as long as I remember, and have had unsupervised internet access since I was eight. I don't recommend this for any youths growing up now – the climate is very different – but I'm personally very happy about this part of my upbringing. I consider the internet my true "motherland" over any physical country I've lived in, and love finding corners of it I can inhabit and make friends in :)

I like my family, fictional characters, cold weather, making lists, libraries/bookstores, discussions about languages/culture, yap sessions, musical theatre, and Worm (my dog). More faves here.

I dislike sweating, arguing "for fun", video tutorials, being handed a flyer at the mall, professional settings, insincerity, cilantro, and instant messaging.
