I have three sites now, including this one, which I'm hosting on Vercel after trying out Neocities, Nekoweb, and Dreamhost. I recently bought domain names for all of them as an early birthday gift to myself. It's been over a year since I got into this hobby and I'm pleasantly surprised that I continue to be as into it as I am!

planning a solo trip

I'm going to Melbourne by myself in August to go see Gianmarco Soresi (a comedian I like) live, and meeting up with friends and family while I'm at it. It's my first solo trip (beyond traveling by myself for school) so I'm looking forward to it.

drawing as usual...

I want some nice things to give out to friends/family that aren't just... weird characters I like, lol... but I also want to make more merch for myself (of said weird characters I like). I'm trying to think more about what is visually interesting/compelling to me and do more of that, but 😵‍💫 it's hard to unlearn the compulsion to draw fanart of stuff I'm obsessed with!

aaahhhhhhh teaching

I'm getting my teaching license and my clinical practice starts in September, so I'm slowly preparing for that. I've taught before, but I'm not naturally a person who likes to get up in front of a group of people so I'm a little bit nervous about it. I also just want to do well by the kids, and of course successfully complete this program.
